Kavita Mariwalla, MD, FAAD, attended Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, and received her medical degree and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society in 2004. She then served her internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Furthermore, she conducted her dermatology residency at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. Dr. Mariwalla stayed on at Yale, where she completed her fellowship training in advanced dermatologic surgery. She received board certification in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology. She is an active member of t the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Honors and recognitions include the On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2016, 2018), the Patients’ Choice Award (2018), and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018). Moreover, she attained fellowship of the American Academy of Dermatology. Happily married, she and her husband – Dr. Kabir Bhasin who is an electrophysiologist at Lenox Hill hospital in New York – have three boys.
